 For lovers of cultural tourism,
the Upper Meuse Dinant proposes to you: Dinant and its citadel, accessible by cable car; Mount Fat, with playground for children, accessible by chair lift, riverboats tours, some passing through the locks of Anseremme and Waulsort, others along the rocks of Freyr, the castle of the same name and up to the charming village of Hastière, the cave "La Merveilleuse", the house of Pataphonie ... and various cultural activities depending on the season such as:

• Solemnity of St-Hubert (3 / 11 or the first Sunday in November)
• Competition of the best eater of 'Flamiche' (1st WE of September)
• Sax Competition, Mosan's Summer Festival (07/09)
• Harley-Davidson concentration (2nd weekend in September)
• Dinant Jazz Night (last WE of September)
• Bathtub Regatta on the River Meuse (August 15) ...

If you stray a bit of Dinant, other attractions await you: Hastings, Waulsort, Furfooz Nature Park, the gardens of Freyr or Annevoie, the castles of Vèves of Falaën, the beautiful village of Celles of Bouvignes, the ruins of medieval castles such as Thierry Crevecoeur, Poilvache Montaigle, Bocq brewery, Abbey Maredsous Valley Maredret ... A little further still, the citadel of Namur, the caves of Han sur Lesse, the book village of Redu, the feudal castle of Lavaux Sainte-Anne… A few good days in perspective…

Sport

For the more intrepid,

« Here we lodge on foot, horseback or by car… » We could add by bike, kayak, or rail bikes or even with spiked shoes!

The Valley of the Lesse, deep and cashed or the valley of the Meuse, large and romantic, everything is close by foot! We suggest many walks and we will provide you with maps and driving directions. 

Lovers of mountain biking will not be disappointed; various circuits are also proposed (including Ravel 2). The descent of the Lesse by kayak, the rail bikes along the Molignée river, the horse-drawn carriage rides along the Meuse or by horse along the Lesse are also possible (it is advisable to call and book in advance).

As for the climbers, they can experiment the joy of climbing on the site of the Club Alpin Belge in Freyr, the site of Chaleux, or on the rocks of "Pont à Lesse" (Mountain Network). Thrill Adventurers will appreciate, paintball with Agimont Adventure, Quad Adventure… 

And finally, for those who would like to try riding a donkey, it is possible to organize excursions of a half day, a full day or even several days. Check it out! We can arrange this in partnership with the Balad'Anes of Hermeton.
